Carved white marble statue of a Menaed from the ancient city of Gadara (modern Umm Qais) Jordan.

In mythology, Maenads were the female members of the Thiasus, the followers of the Greek god Dionysus. The statue dates to 2nd or 3rd Century CE and was found on the Eastern façade of the Podium Monument, to her left are the feet of a second male figure (probably a representation of Silenus, the tutor of Dionysus).

The sculpture is now on display in the Umm Qais Museum.
