This week's Umm Qais interactive 360 is of the Roman West Theatre of Ancient Gadara / Umm Qais. The theatre is built of local grey basalt and a marble statue of Tyche (the protector goddess of the city) was seated at the centre of the front row of seating. Many of the buildings in the traditional village of Umm Qais used stone from the upper parts of the theatre.
