We cordially invite you to attend the opening of the ‘Umm Qais Heritage’ Exhibition on the 15th August 2021 at the Visitors Centre in Umm Qais, Irbid.
The exhibition will showcase the ‘Living Museum of Umm Qais’ project, led by the University of Leeds in the UK in partnership with the Jordan University of Science and Technology and local institutions.
The project is a research collaboration between members of the local community in Umm Qais, with British and Jordanian academics, the Department of Antiquities, and the Umm Qais and Jordan Museums.
نتشرف بدعوتكم لحضور حفل افتتاح معرض أم قيس التراثي يوم الأحد الموافق ١٥-٨-٢٠٢١ و ذلك في مركز زوار مدينة أم قيس الاثرية.
حيث سيتم عرض بعض من أعمال و منتجات مشروع المتحف الحيّ لمدينة أم قيس، والذّي تم تنفيذه من قبل جامعه ليدز البريطانية و بالشراكة مع جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية و العديد من المؤسسات و الهيئات المحلية.
يمثّل مشروع المتحف الحيّ تعاونًا بحثيًا مميزًا بين أفراد المجتمع المحليّ في مدينة أم قيس، و مجموعة مميّزة من الأكاديميين المختصّين من بريطانيا و الأردن، وبالتعاون مع دائرة الآثار العامّة الأردنية و متحف أم قيس و متحف الأردن.
